Looking for a prescription?
Find a Doctor
Find a UK-based prescribing clinician for medical cannabis.
Before Your Consultation
- Prepare a medical history summary — conditions, duration, functional impact
- Bring a full medication list — all current and recent prescriptions
- Summarise previous treatments: what you tried, for how long, why they failed
- A GP letter is helpful but most clinics accept self-referrals without one
Most UK cannabis clinics offer telehealth consultations — your first appointment can take place at home via video call.
What Happens During the Assessment
- Clinician assesses whether cannabis is appropriate for your specific condition
- Questions cover: symptom severity, impact on daily life, cannabis history, cardiovascular and psychiatric history
- Not all patients are offered a prescription at the first consultation — this is normal
- If prescribed: product type, formulation, THC:CBD ratio, and dosing instructions are specified
If a prescription is offered, it is sent directly to a licensed dispensing pharmacy. Follow-up consultations are scheduled to monitor your response.
